Executive Director
Mike is a founder of MUMI Investment Managers and is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Before MUMI, he was the founder CEO of EBank, Namibia’s first branchless bank.
Prior to that, Mike started his investment professional career by serving in various capacities at the central Bank of Namibia, including Assistant Governor and Head of Financial System Stability (3 years), Chief Investment Officer of the Bank in charge of foreign currency portfolio and debt management worth a combined value of over N$ 20 billion, and Director of Banking Supervision. He also served as Chairperson of the Financial System Stability Committee and as a Member of the Monetary Policy Committee. He holds an MSc in Investment Management (London, UK), BSc in Economics and Accounting, and Advanced Diploma in Treasury Management & International.
Executive Director
Megameno is a co-founder of MUMI Investment Managers and serves as a portfolio manager. Before MUMI, Megameno served in various capacities at Simonis Storm Securities, including Director of Research and Dealing, Investment Analyst and Finance Manager.
At Simonis Storm Megameno was also key part of corporate finance advisory services team and assisted private wealth clients with portfolio management. Prior to that, Megameno completed his chartered accountant articles with PwC Namibia, auditing companies in the financial services and asset management space. Megameno is a Chartered Accountant and CFA Level III candidate.
Non-executive Director
Kuwabo holds a Business Management degree and a national certificate in Accounting & finance from NUST and has over 20 years’ experience in the financial, administration and the local authority fraternity.
Non-executive Independent Director
Scholastika holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting from Rhodes University. Scholastika completed her chartered accountant articles with Deloitte Namibia, before joining EY Ireland.
Scholastika has several years of experience auditing in the financial services industry, specializing in banking and pension funds. Scholastika recently worked at EY Ireland in the Financial Services Organization (FSO), EMEIA region as a manager specifically in the banking and capital markets division.
Chairman (Non-executive Independent Director)
Brian holds an MBA as well as an LLM in Economic & Mercantile law from the university of Stellenbosch , has 22 years combined experience in professional legal and Executive experience.
Brian has demonstrated history of working in the banking industry. Skilled in Banking, Dispute Resolution, Risk Management, Strategic Planning, and Legal Advice.
